About Me
Hi I’m Lee known to my friends as Trigg, from an early age I was always interested in art and being creative. Being a passionate surfer since a young age my original photographic genre was focused more towards surf and seascape but overtime this broadened into landscape and people, capturing moments from a journalistic view across the Oceans.
So, who am I? On a personal note, I live in the small village of St Newlyn East in Cornwall with my wife, son and amazing dog Ocha! I consider myself a very down to earth person with a friendly approach to work which has been moulded from over thirty years lifeguarding Cornwall’s beaches, this in turn has also given me a much-needed sense of humour. My passion for travel and surfing lead me into the love of photography over 20 years ago, from early days of film to digital and mirrorless all using high end canon bodies and professional lenses. My works style is documenting and endeavouring to tell that story in all my images, whether its model shoots or product, landscapes or interiors I feel even the most mundane subject can be interesting if you bring it to life. I am now into my 4th year of shooting weddings coming through Covid (great time to add weddings to my portfolio haha) and have a mix of several weddings displayed in galleries to see my style.
So why choose Me for your Wedding?
Well, my style of Photography will tell a story of your day from start to finish without sounding to cliché, which of course it does!!! The difference is your going to get what you want! some eccentricities , a bit of flare and something outside the box. When shooting events I have always made it a reportage style capturing the occasion as much as possible while shooting all those little moments, I want you to look back at your photos and feel the day all over again and apart from a short time of the family group shots and a few posed portraits the day is yours to enjoy with your guests . All my photography avenues have been self-taught from edits to retouching and most importantly knowledge of light and composition. I would describe my editing style as true colour meets matt vintage so plenty of colour but not to contrasty, so if you are after that light and airy look…I am not the photographer for you. Take a look through my other galleries believe me im not a ‘one trick pony’ and being able to add all these genres into your wedding day will only bring spark to your photos, So if you’re interested in me documenting your day and want someone who can add a bit of ‘je ne sais quoi’ then get in touch i promise you won’t be disappointed.
